This scope has a rail slot for claw mounts (M). Illumination happens automatically with the advanced iC technology as a sensor in the eyepiece recognizes the position of the cocking slide and activates the reticle the instant the shooter’s thumb pushes the cocking slide forward. The shooting hand stays on the pistol grip and the forward hand no longer has to leave the stock to turn on the riflescope reticle allowing the shooter and rifle to remain one unit.
